About the UI experience: They got a simple straight forward page, clean navigation to different pages on the top header, and a single call for action button on the middle. plus they put a world map as a background to make user feel welcome and let them know at one look that they could join the challenge wherever part of the globe they are from.

Zynga’s homepage have this modal popup that suggests that you drag the link to your browser’s Bookmarks for easy access and coming back to their site. and when you hover your mouse in the button it shows an arrow up and the words Drag me! shows, and they then changed the cursor into a move/drag icon.
YourSingapore.com asks visitors who came to their site for the first time with this screen in the middle of the screen. They will use this info to modify the user’s browsing experience on their website. After picking your location you can later on switch the countries on the top menu portion where they provide a drop-down menu upon hover to switch to another country.
